Tim was arrested on Easter Sunday, April 20th 1999, wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death by an all-White jury. 26 years on, from California’s death row, he envisions boiling eggs as a metaphor for capital punishment. As part of Tim’s #ProtectTheEgg #FreeTimYoung movement, we asked people to send us videos and images of boiling eggs. Images began to arrive from across the world in a remarkable show of solidarity spanning from Bombay to London, Hebron, West Bank to Accra, Singapore to Boston, Khartoum to Dhaka, and beyond.
